Syracuse Time Recorder Company was established in Syracuse, New York and manufactured time recording equipment in the early 1900s. In 1908, the company was purchased by International Time Recorder (ITR), which consolidated multiple time recording manufacturers. After the acquisition, ITR continued to produce some Syracuse models for a brief period, but gradually phased them out in favor of ITR-branded equipment. This makes Syracuse Time Recorders relatively rare today.
